OpenCart 2.x. How to activate and manage Olark live chat feature

The following tutorial will show you how to setup and manage the “Olark Live Chatmodule in OpenCart 2.x.

  1. Go to Olark official website and register your own account following a few easy registration steps offered:

  2. Once it is done, you will get a successful registration screen with the Olark site ID generated specially for you. Please copy this code:

  3. Then log into your OpenCart admin panel.

  4. Navigate to Extensions -> Modules.

  5. Choose the Olark Live Chat and click on Install.

  6. Then find this module again and click Edit.

  7. Specify the Module Name, site ID(the one you copied before) and enable the module.

  8. After that please navigate to Layout section to add the module to a page.

  9. Find a layout name and click on Edit.

  10. Then please click on Add module and choose the Olark Live Chat.

  11. Please, save the changes and refresh your website.
